LOCATION:

Chennai  (Madras) is one of the four  Metropolies centrally located in the Coromandel Coast of India and well connected to other parts of the country by Air, Rail and Road.  Anna International Airport and Kamaraj Domestic Airport are situated 15 Kms. from the Conference venue.  Central Railway station is four kms and Egmore Railway Station is situated three kms away from the conference hall.

WEATHER:

Weather will be very pleasant in Chennai during January.  The Day temperature will be around 27-28° C and  night  will be cooler.  No special clothing is required. 

CONFERENCE VENUE:

Conference  Venue  in located in the heart of the city and easily accessible from the  Hotels, Railway Station, Bus Stand and Airport.  The Conference Hall can accommodate more than 1000 delegates with ample parking space.

FOOD:

Indian  and  Continental  Food and  Beverages  are  available  in  both business and Luxury type Hotels.  Lunch (Vegetarian) and Tea / Coffee will be provided in the Conference Venue.

LANGUAGE:

English will be the official language of  the  conference. In  Chennai, Tamil and English are widely used. Almost all the people connected to tourism, hotels, clubs, restaurants, shops and ground handling services speak  English.

SHOPPING:

Chennai is famous for exotic Silk  fabrics. Hand wooven silk sarees  from Kanchipuram are world famous. Sea shell  products, cotton wear, leather products, handicrafts & antiques are of usual attraction to the visitors.

VISAS:

Visas are required for most of the nationalities except Nepal. Delegates who wish to get an invitation from the organisers to process the Visa should furnish the following particulars.   Immigration rules of  India insist on inoculation certificate against  yellow  fever  from delegates travelling from Italy, African and Latin  American Countries.
